Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role:
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will:
- Lead treasury management, finance processes, and controls improvement.
- Produce monthly management and annual reports and accounts.
- Provide a high-quality, customer-focused finance service.
- Oversee the association’s general insurance portfolio, VAT management, and banking relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities relating to company accounts, including annual reports and detailed financial interpretations.
- Handle complex accounting, tax, treasury issues, and process improvements.
- Refer policy and significant process changes to the Director of Corporate Services.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant – ACCA, CIMA, ACA (or equivalent).
- Experience in managing a small team and preparing management and year-end financial accounts.
- Skilled in developing monthly reporting packs for budget owners and senior managers.
- Ability to resolve complex accounting problems and propose tactical financial solutions.
- Experience in preparing VAT returns, ideally including partial exemption.
Skills:
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication with staff, business managers, executives, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and management ability.
- Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency.
