Location: Latimer Road, W11 or London Bridge SE1

Remote or hybrid working. Public Transport Travel Expenses covered within Zones 1-6.

Illuminate Productions is a London-based not for-profit art organisation. We commission and produce ground-breaking, award-winning high impact art installations and interactive experiences in unusual yet accessible environments to engage and inspire a universal audience. We bring together emerging and established artists, organisations and individuals in experimental partnerships to make site-specific work in challenging contexts. Over the past 20 years we have commissioned, curated and produced more than 250 exhibitions and events. In celebration of our 20th anniversary this July, we plan to launch our most ambitious projects yet. To help bring these visions to life, we are looking for a proactive Fundraising and Partnership Associate to work directly with our Director. This is a unique opportunity to secure corporate partnerships and council funding that will shape our sustainable future and take our art to new audiences.

Role Description

As a Fundraising and Partnerships Associate, you will support Illuminate Productions by developing and managing fundraising initiatives and cultivating relationships with potential partners. Day-to-day activities include conducting prospect research, preparing applications, coordinating fundraising campaigns, and exploring sponsorship opportunities. You will also assist with maintaining communication with stakeholders as well as planning engagement strategies. This is a volunteer position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with some remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in partnership development and building collaborative relationships
  • Proficiency in research, strategic planning, and project coordination
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with the arts sector and fundraising software tools is a plus
  • A passion for the arts and a commitment to supporting cultural initiatives
