Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand long‑term relationships with hospitals, clinical labs, and diagnostic partners across Birmingham, Oxford, and Southampton.
- Identify opportunities in oncology, reproductive health, infectious disease, and broader diagnostic workflows.
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to negotiation and closing, working through KOLs.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and territory plans.
- Deliver tailored presentations that articulate clinical value and economic impact.
- Understand customer decision‑making processes, budgeting cycles, and adoption barriers.
- Work closely with Sales Specialists, Field Application Scientists, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful implementations, translating customer needs into actionable internal strategies.
- Stay informed on NHS procurement processes, tenders, and regulatory frameworks; leverage genomics expertise to guide customers through technical and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences (BA/BSc or MSc/PhD preferred).
- Strong commercial experience in healthcare or diagnostics, ideally within UK hospitals or clinical labs.
- Solid understanding of molecular biology and genomics; NGS experience highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts and multiple stakeholders.
