Experteer Overview In this role you will advance precision medicine by building scalable bioinformatics solutions for array and NGS data. You'll work across algorithm development, statistics, and production-grade software to deliver reliable workflows for genotyping and genetics applications. You'll collaborate with wet-lab scientists, product and software teams to translate scientific needs into validated computational solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of algorithms and probabilistic models for array and NGS data analysis (genotyping/genetics)
- Apply statistical, computational, and machine-learning methods to large-scale genetic/epigenetic datasets
- Design and develop production-grade software automating analytical workflows at scale
- Contribute to software testing automation (unit, integration, regression)
- Define and maintain CI/CD workflows for reliable software delivery
- Implement telemetry, logging, and monitoring to improve observability and robustness
- Execute and improve Software Lifecycle practices (requirements traceability, design docs, verification, validation)
- Use tools like JAMA and JIRA to support structured, high-quality software development
- Collaborate with wet-lab scientists, product management, and engineering to translate needs into solutions
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other scientists and engineers (staff level)
