Head Pastry Chef - Contract Catering

Head Pastry Chef – Buckinghamshire – £38k

I am currently looking for a Head Pasty Chef who has experience and a passion for working with fresh ingredients across both hospitality and retail.

My client is one of the leading Independent Education Caterers and are recruiting for a stunning boarding school near Buckingham. The kitchen caters for 1500 people daily. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for a team of 2 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

Currently at Head Pastry Chef level

Have a proven background in baking and patisserie

Experience in both high volume counter service restaurants and fine dining/ events

Hold a current DBS

Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to work 5 days out of 7, to suit the demands of the business.
