Our EHS team plays an important role in our business operations and EHS success. As the Product Stewardship Specialist, you will get to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, leveraging your expertise in product regulatory compliance, SDS creation, and responding to customer requests to create great EHS outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure the implementation of ITW's product stewardship programs across our Division supporting our EU and North American locations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GHS, REACH, OSHA, and country-specific requirements.
- Ensure product labels contain accurate and up-to-date safety and regulatory information, meeting all applicable chemical compliance standards.
- Respond to customer and R&D inquiries regarding product safety, chemical regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and interpret global product compliance regulations, implementing necessary updates to SDSs, labels, and internal processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, R&D, EHS, and commercial teams, to support product compliance initiatives.
- Maintain compliance databases and documentation, ensuring records are accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, or a related field, with experience in chemical product compliance.
- Proven experience in SDS authoring and product labeling, with knowledge of GHS, REACH, TSCA, CLP, and other global chemical regulations.
- Understanding of chemical hazard classification and experience with regulatory databases and compliance software.
- Experience responding to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in compliance documentation and labeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them effectively to product compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple compliance requests and projects simultaneously.
- Clear and effective communication, able to translate complex regulatory requirements into understandable and actionable guidance.
- Proactive and adaptable, staying ahead of changing regulations and ensuring continuous compliance improvements.
