Overview
In this role you will deliver on-site technical expertise across customer sites, focusing on calibration and sensitivity testing of inline inspection equipment. You will engage with customers to resolve queries, comply with health and safety regulations, and manage paperwork efficiently. The position involves overtime and on-call standby, with a commitment to expanding product knowledge. You will work within the National Service Team to support customers and drive service quality, in a dynamic field setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform service, calibration and sensitivity testing of customer inline inspection equipment on-site
- Address on-site customer queries professionally and courteously
- Adhere to health and safety regulations across diverse environments
- Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly according to procedures
- Participate in overtime as needed and be on the on-call rota
- Contribute to learning a diverse set of products and improve product knowledge
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure service commitments are met
Key requirements
- Strong technical electrical/electronics skills
- Qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering (BTEC/ONC/HNC)
- Experience in a field service role and customer service familiarity (preferred)
- Good PC literacy
- Organized and reliable with a methodical problem-solving approach
- Full valid driving licence
