Morgan McKinley are currently working with a large UK Rail business in sourcing a Treasury Finance Manager for a 12 month contract. The offices are based in Central London and will be on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This is a 12 mth FTC paying £70K with a £10K completion bonus
Ultimately you will be responsible for Treasury accounting and control activities, such as cashflow forecasting; monitoring and reporting of net debt and finance costs; performance of key controls for treasury transactions; and settlement, reconciliation and accounting entries.
Duties will include…..
Management and performance of key financial controls over treasury transactions:
â?¢ Confirmation of Treasury activity / dealing with counterparties including FX and interest rate swaps, interest claims, commitment fees and other interest fees with counterparty
â?¢ Ensure compliance with counterparty credit limits
â?¢ Approval of changes to standard settlement instructions (SSIs) and standing data on banking systems and the group\’s treasury management system
â?¢ Setting up all treasury related payments and ensuring settlement, changes to bank account and dealer mandates
Responsible for accounting and reporting for treasury related activity:
â?¢ Internal group treasury reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
â?¢ Short-term daily cash forecasting
â?¢ Responsibility for hedge accounting documentation and mark to market valuations
â?¢ Reconciliation of settlements and bank accounts (treasury management system to bank account and ledger)
â?¢ Responsible with administering and submission Treasury accounting reports to CKI 3a, 3b, 7a, 7b
â?¢ Provision of information for stakeholders, auditors and financial statements
â?¢ Ensuring all treasury activity is correctly accounted for in the treasury management system and financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Process optimisation
â?¢ Overall responsibility and continuing development of treasury processes
â?¢ Working with Treasury to identify areas of improvement within the treasury management system
