Technical Coordinator – Design-Led Construction
Bradford HQ (Hybrid) | £32,000–£36,000 + CPD
Full-time | Residential design + build
We’re Ilkley Brickwork — a fast-growing, design-led construction company delivering high-quality residential projects across Yorkshire. We\’re looking for a Technical Coordinator to help us turn bold ideas into build-ready, safe, and seamless delivery.
This isn’t a caretaker role. It’s for someone with 5–7 years’ experience, a background in structural or construction engineering, and the hunger to own outcomes — not just review drawings.
What you’ll do:
- Own the technical flow from design through to build
- Write SOPs and create method packs for common jobs (lintels, structural openings, extensions, etc.)
- Work closely with our design team to protect the client’s vision and budget
- Support site teams with clear, safe, buildable documentation
- Shield customers from the technical back-and-forth — be the calm, competent presence behind every smooth build
You’ll thrive if:
- You’re proactive, practical, and don’t wait to be told
- You love solving problems before they hit site
- You want to grow into a leadership role — not stay where you are
- You care about the client experience as much as the construction detail
