The role
We are looking for a Corporate Account Manager to be the main point of contact for assigned clients, guiding them from onboarding through the full partnership lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining account health, driving performance, supporting retention, and enabling growth.
In this role, you will build strong client relationships, understand their business goals, and ensure our services meet their evolving needs. You will also work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless service, resolve issues quickly, and identify opportunities for upselling or process improvements. This is a dynamic, client-facing role for someone who enjoys strategic thinking, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact on client success.
The role can be based at either our East Grinstead or Northampton office, with hybrid working in line with company policy.
Key responsibilities
- Client Relationship & Account Management — Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for clients; build strong relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term retention; understand client goals and align services to support growth; conduct regular account reviews (QBRs, half-yearly reviews) to monitor performance and strategy; support NPS, surveys, and feedback initiatives; identify, resolve, and escalate account issues as needed; track and analyse performance metrics to manage risks and opportunities.
- Commercial Ownership & Strategic Growth — Manage pricing, profitability, and contract renegotiations with support from senior leadership; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; advise clients on innovations, process improvements, and service expansions; lead service and operational improvement initiatives and stakeholder mapping.
- Client Onboarding & Advocacy — Ensure smooth onboarding and transitions; promote referral and advocacy programs to support business growth.
What we are looking for
- Proven account management experience, ideally in 3PL, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with contracts, pricing, and negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations.
- Forward-thinking, proactive, and able to anticipate client needs.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
