Description:
Employer is looking for a kind, reliable and dependable Personal Assistant/ Care Worker to provider care and support to a woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her own home. Supporting her independence, choice and dignity
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in providing person-centred care and would enjoy building a trusting relationship with the employer.
Tasks will include:
- Assisting with their Personal Care
- Assisting with their bedtime routine
- Assisting with catheter care
- Assisting with dressing
- Preparing food/drinks as required
- Assisting the supported person with general household support
- Assisting with transfers and mobility using a tracking/ ceiling hoist
- Providing Companionship and assisting with social support
- Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Worker / Personal Assistant
