We’re seeking an experienced Network Test Analyst to support a high-profile transition and transformation programme involving Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in network testing and infrastructure, particularly across routers, switches, and firewalls.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring new infrastructure components and designs meet functional and operational expectations through structured test planning, execution, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Create detailed test scripts based on Test Plans and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
- Execute testing across various phases: Unit, System Integration, Functional, Non-Functional, Disaster Recovery, and Operational Acceptance
- Import and manage test cases within ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), linking to requirements and capturing results
- Gather and present test execution evidence, raising and tracking defects in ALM
- Support the setup and execution of network testing using RFC 2544 methodologies
- Proficiency with Cisco switch/router command line (CLI)
- Comfortable handling and patching fibre optic cables in a data centre environment
- Ability to interpret HLD and LLD network design documentation
- Familiarity with data centre operating procedures
- Experience using Micro Focus ALM or similar test management tools
- Exposure to network and service monitoring tools (e.g. StableNet or equivalent)
- Experience working in Critical National Infrastructure environments (utilities, defence, telco, etc.)
- Background in infrastructure programmes involving large-scale network transitions
