IKOS UK is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in the Railway sector. Guided by our values, we are committed to playing an active role in the ecological transition by developing the transport systems of the future, which are safe, sustainable, and powered by greener energy.
To further support our growth in the energy sector throughout the UK, we are now looking for an experienced Business Development professional dedicated to the renewable energy sector.
The Role:
The Business Manager will be responsible for leading and growing IKER, our dedicated Energy business sector in the UK. If you\’re a proven leader driven by innovation and excited to shape the future of energy, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, develop, and manage a client portfolio, identifying new business opportunities in the UK energy sector.
- Ensure proper follow-up of contracts and ongoing services.
- Recruitment & Consultant Management: Build your team by recruiting engineers according to client needs.
- Ensure their integration, coaching, and career development.
- Activity Management & Team Leadership: Monitor project delivery, analyse performance, and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Support engineers’ skills development and ensure their professional growth.
✔ You hold an Engineering degree (mandatory). Candidates from other backgrounds cannot be considered for this position.
✔ You have 3–4 years of experience, ideally in engineering consulting, industry, and in energy sectors.
✔ You have prior experience in team management and profit centre responsibility.
✔ You hold a valid driving license to visit clients.
✔ You are dynamic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are highly adaptable.
