Position: PMO (Project Management Office) Administrator - Maternity Cover

Location: Pride Park, Derby

The Role: As part of the PMO you will provide support, guidance and administration services for the PMO team. To support and assist the PMO team and Project Managers, by undertaking various administrative activities, including updating and constant reviewing of the IKOS AEGIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and to the PMO group in all key areas of delivery.
  • Undertaking the support activities that contribute to setting a project structure.
  • Support the PMO group, delivering, developing and using best practice tools and techniques.
  • Supporting the PMO and Project Managers with core activities when running projects that include but are not limited to, purchase order processing, updating and invoicing.
  • Set up and manage the online project folder as appropriate.
  • Support the PMO team in producing standardised reporting, project metrics and KPIs to manage and monitor project status.

Essential Skills/knowledge:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, working within an administration role.
  • Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Drive to help others gain skills and understanding of processes.
  • Proficient in industry-standard IT tools such as MS Word and Excel.
