Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior/Expert Kotlin Developer based in Latvia. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain advanced software solutions using Kotlin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deploy new features, optimize system performance, and ensure code quality through best practices. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Kotlin, with experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable applications.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and best coding practices.
- Experience with backend development frameworks, APIs, and database integration (e.g., Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture is highly desirable (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaborative development tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills to support and guide junior team members.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
