In order to strengthen and further drive our position as Market leader status, we are seeking applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the post. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Engineers Manager to manage the provision of technical support. Reporting to the National Technical Engineer Manager, the successful candidate will manage, plan and implement the technical engineers support to meet the company’s objectives.

Experience specialising in BUR and Liquids and with Single Ply and Hot melt an advantage. We are looking for a proactive and highly organised candidate, who can demonstrate experience within a similar role. This position will be offered on permanent contract, the post holder would be expected to complete a 6 month probationary period after which they would be confirmed in post if successful.

  • Post: Full time and permanent
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, offered salary will be commensurate with experience
  • Hours: 35 hours per week

Required competencies include:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of flat roofing products and systems.
  • Good practical knowledge of built up roofing and liquid applied waterproofing applications.
  • Excellent practical working with IKO waterproofing systems.
  • Management and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Confidence to deal with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of IT software, specifically Word/Excel packages.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organise a team workload prioritising site visits and working days in a logical manner.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Customer focus with comprehensive knowledge of roofing products and their applications.
