WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE:
- Promoting and maintaining IKO safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Leading safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within department, assigned projects, and areas with goal of zero incidents.
- Exemplifying safety in all actions and leading by example.
- Designing electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support processes.
- Designing, developing, and fine-tuning PID Control algorithms for complex electrical systems.
- Creating electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Specifying components, material, and equipment required for electrical systems.
- Integrating electrical systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Collaborating with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
- Ensuring equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
- Developing and implementing automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Programming and troubleshooting control systems for automated processes.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.

- Proficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software.
- Proficiency in electrical design software, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least six (6) years’ experience in a manufacturing facility.
