Electrical Engineer Glass Fiber Operations

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE:

• Promoting and maintaining IKO safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Leading safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within department, assigned projects, and areas with goal of zero incidents.
• Exemplifying safety in all actions and leading by example.
• Designing electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support processes.
• Designing, developing, and fine-tuning PID Control algorithms for complex electrical systems.
• Creating electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Specifying components, material, and equipment required for electrical systems.
• Integrating electrical systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Collaborating with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
• Ensuring equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
• Developing and implementing automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
• Programming and troubleshooting control systems for automated processes.

• Knowledge of industry standards, electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software.
• Proficiency in electrical design software, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least six (6) years’ experience in a manufacturing facility.
