The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the QHSE department, including maintaining the QHSE Management System ensuring compliance and best practices in line with company ISO standards in 9001, 45001 and 14001. Will be required to support the QHSE department in all internal audits and assist with maintaining Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, processes and procedures. Utilise IT systems, including document control and Microsoft packages. Support in all Health and Safety Training and Campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance during internal audits and inspections when required.
  • Assist with document control within the Business Management System.
  • Support the QHSE with Safety Campaigns.
  • Support with IKM's Innovation strategy.
  • Maintenance and statistical analysis of any accident/near-miss records.
  • Maintenance of the SYPOL database to ensure COSHH Assessments are reviewed.
  • Assist with the QHSE inductions for all new personnel.
  • Support QHSE in the delivery of Health and Safety Training.
  • Actively promote a positive Health and Safety Culture.
  • Provide assistance with the development and implementation of the Company's continual improvement process.
  • You may be required to provide administrative assistance to other departments from time to time.

Experience Required:

  • College/Higher Education.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge/capability in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment.

Preferred:

  • Higher Education.
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment.
  • An interest in developing further with Health and Safety.
