We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Transition team.

Acting as the subject matter expert for HV IAC Testing & Termination (T&T), you will support project delivery, tendering, and engineering scopes across a range of offshore and onshore environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to renewable energy and power transmission projects while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation, reports, and technical submissions
  • Support tendering activities including method statements, equipment lists, and pricing schedules
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate and oversee daily site operations and project performance
  • Ensure all operational requirements are delivered in line with contract, procedures, and deadlines
  • Provide technical support during client engagements and business development meetings
  • Monitor and guide team members, promoting high performance and collaboration
  • Plan project activities, track progress, and manage changes effectively
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and HSE Management Systems
  • Produce key project documentation including risk assessments, quality plans, and management reports
  • Travel offshore and internationally as required

Requirements

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering
  • HNC / BTEC Level 4 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering

• (Or ability to obtain)

  • RUK Wind Turbine Medical Certificate
  • GWO Basic Safety Training

Technical Certifications (Desirable)

  • Electrical Installation
  • HV Cable Jointing
  • COMPEX Certification
  • Transformer & Switchgear Installation/Maintenance

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in HV cable testing & termination within power transmission, renewables, or oil & gas
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV testing and/or fibre optic T&T operations

Preferred

  • Experience delivering HV T&T projects onsite, preferably offshore
  • Exposure to project environments including budgets, P&L, and reporting
  • Background in offshore electrical installation or maintenance
