IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Warehouse Operatives to join our hardworking Fulfilment Operations team. These contracts are 16 or 20 hours a week. We have opportunities in Order Picking (moving through the store collecting and completing customer orders), Service Execution (cross-checking and handing out customer orders) and the Self-Serve Warehouse (supporting in the area where our customers pick their own items). - Planned induction dates are 08 and 15 February ****. It is important you are able to attend on one of these dates.
- Availability to work at least two days between Monday to Friday (up until 22:00pm), as well as 3 in 4 weekends, is essential.

As an Order Picker and in Service Execution, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online and in-store collection or delivery, including handing them to the customer. Your daily duties will be safely handling stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking. In Self-Serve, you will be customer-focused, working with our systems to support customers find and purchase their products safely. This means using the pump truck and moving products around at times, safe manual handling and ensuring the warehouse is presentable, safe and stocked accurately. In both roles, you will work with our internal systems, software and technology to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times. You will contribute to optimized daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way, applying, and sharing good examples. You will be committed to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements within your area and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
