Warehouse Operative Part-time

IKEA Peterborough CDC is looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant to join our hardworking fulfilment team. This position is weekend-only, working Saturdays and Sundays with rotational shifts from 06:00am to 14:00pm or 14:00pm to 22:00pm. 10-hour shifts will be discussed at the assessment centre.

What You Need

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize
• Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently and in a team
• Must be over 18 due to health and safety regulations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Receiving goods, picking and packing orders, maintaining stock records
• Manual handling of heavy stock (training provided)
• Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts safely and efficiently
• Following safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
