WHAT YOU\’LL NEED TO HAVE

You have a creative and commercial sense, and you are passionate about inspiring and surprising our customers by presenting and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offer in-store. Have a passion for fast-paced, future-oriented retailing, and an understanding of the trends that influence home furnishing and retail.

You have relevant design qualification\’s, experience in visual merchandising in a retail environment is preferable.

This is a fast-paced, hands on role and involves using basic electric tools, painting and working up ladders.

A positive mindset, good problem solving skills and keen eye for detail.

Knowledge of in design planning software including, Revit, is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

An eagerness to learn and develop with the potential to be leader of the future.

WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Contribute to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.

Provide inspiring home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products that will support a convenient shopping experience and improve peoples life at home.

Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store by working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.

Stay updated on trends in home furnishing & retailing to generate creative directions that inspire and surprise visitors with a strong visual impression.

You will be 25% planning and 75% implementing on the shop floor.
