IKEA Greenwich is looking for a Visual Merchandiser (Visual Merchandising/Activity Co‑worker) to join our team. We want a creative, detail‑oriented individual who can enhance our store’s visual appeal and drive sales. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will arrange merchandise to highlight key products and ensure the layout remains attractive, functional, and aligned with best practice.

  • 39 hours per week (5 days a week, including occasional evening and weekend shifts)

What You’ll Need to Have

  • Qualification in a relevant creative field
  • Working knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Passion for home furnishings, design, and everyday living, with the ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers
  • Hands‑on approach; comfortable working with hand tools and at heights

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day

  • Use visual merchandising skills to strengthen IKEA’s identity through store layout, range presentation, and vitality
  • Understand the local market and plan inspiring, affordable, commercial range presentations that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, and tastes while exceeding visitor expectations
  • Collaborate with the Com&In team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities, and understand how actions affect financial results
  • Work with the commercial calendar to implement range changes
  • Maintain the shop floor, ensuring displays are ready for customers and that the approach remains hands‑on
