Job Description: Store Assistant – Chester

Join our team at IKEA Chester as a Store Assistant and be part of creating a better everyday life for the many. In this role, you will enhance customer experience by working across various departments, including sales, customer relations, food, and warehouse fulfillment. You will be trained to work in each of these areas over time.

  1. Customer Service: Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and support their needs effectively.
  2. Product Knowledge: Be curious about our range, learn the stories behind our products, and share this knowledge with customers.
  3. Sales Support: Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and well-presented area to maximize sales and facilitate easy shopping.
  4. Vision Alignment: Use the IKEA vision of a better everyday life at home to interact with guests and promote products aligned with their needs.
  5. Manual Handling: Safely handle manual tasks, including the use of pump trucks and ladders.

Job Details

Location: Chester, with initial training at Warrington

Employment Type: Part-Time Permanent

Shift hours: 9am – 9pm, flexible during the day, evenings, and weekends

Hourly Rate: Β£12.60
