IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome a Stock Replenishment Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

This is an early-morning role, where shifts will begin at 04:00am before store opening times, and up until 10:00am, to stock the shop floor for our many customers!

In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store. If you’re ready to take on a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!, â ¢ Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, and replenishing goods with accuracy.

â ¢ Working with or around machinery, such as counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods on and around the shop floor.

â ¢ Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.

â ¢ Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.

â ¢ Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.

â ¢ Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.

â ¢ An interest to work in a physically demanding role that involves manual handling, as you will be stocking up the shop floor for our customers to purchase items.

â ¢ Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate actively in group efforts.

â ¢ The Start Date of employment will be Sunday, 09 March 2025.

⠢ Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour. For nightshift hours between 04:00am and 06:00am, a nightshift allowance of £2.25 an hour will be applied to the hourly rate.

â ¢ Contract of 24 hours a week. Shift times will be 04:00am to 10:00am, and will include regular weekend work.

â ¢ We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

Health and Safety Guidelines necessitate that those working between the hours of 10pm and 6am must be over 18 years of age.
