IKEA Southampton are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our creative and passionate team.
Responsibilities
- Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store by working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.
- Understand the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed visitors' expectations.
- Collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of actions on the financial results.
- Work with the commercial calendar to implement range changes.
Qualifications
- Degree or experience in a relevant creative field.
- Working knowledge of design software such as Autocad, REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (preferred).
- Passion for home furnishings, design and how people live, with the ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers.
- Hands‑on approach, comfortable using hand tools and working at heights.
