IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a Sales Assistant to join our team. A Sales Co-worker at IKEA helps customers, boosts sales, shares product knowledge, keeps the sales area attractive, and works well with the team.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The Start Date of employment will be: 27th of April
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
  • 20 hours working 4/5 days per week include 3 weekends per month.
  • 24 Hours working 3/4 days per week include 3 weekends per month.
  • For these roles we require availability during the day on weekdays, you may still be scheduled for late shifts as well. All our part-time roles will receive 1 weekend off a month.
  • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

  • You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.

  • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
  • You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
