IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our team.
At IKEA Nottingham, we’re looking for someone who’s not just great with customers—but great at making their day. You’ll bring our products to life by sharing their stories, offering smart home solutions, and keeping your area looking fabulous (and fully stocked!). If you’re curious, hands-on, and ready to lift more than just spirits—we’d love to meet you!
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 17th August.
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Various contracts from 8 to 12 hours weekly working up to 3 days and 3 out of 4 weekends.
• Working hours are between 8am and 9:30pm (Sunday 9am to 6pm).
• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

• You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.

WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
• You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting safely.
