WHAT WE OFFER

The Start Date of employment will be: 13th June 2026. This role offers an hourly rate of 13.45. Nightshift allowance of 2.25 per hour applies for hours worked between 10pm and 6am. Part Time: 30 hours working 5 shifts per week including 3 out of 4 weekends. Full Time: 39 hours working 5 shifts per week including 3 out of 4 weekends. Shift start times for this role are from will be either 11pm or 4am. Please be aware that the IKEA Store is located outside of the city and links by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
  • Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking and packing customer orders and keeping accurate records of stock levels. Working with or around heavy machinery, such as Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
