IKEA Gateshead are looking for a Kitchen Instore Planner to join our team and help customers create the heart of their homes. We’re looking for someone who can make the planning experience enjoyable and inspiring by engaging with customers warmly and attentively.
What We Offer
- The start date of employment will be 1st of February.
- The starting salary for this role is £28,100 based on skills and experience.
- 39 hours working 5 days per week between 09:00am and 22:00pm including 2 weekends out of 4.

What You’ll Need to Have
- You are someone who listens to the customer needs and offers innovative solutions to meet them.
- You enjoy working on your own initiative with the autonomy to manage your diary of appointments.
- You have experience working with a variety of computer programmes including Microsoft Office suite and Planning Tools.
- You are enjoying following kitchens design trends and customer buying behaviours to provide relevant solutions to our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day
- You will be responsible for the full customer experience from booking the first appointment, planning and through to payment being taken.
- You will engage with our customers in‑store, identifying their needs, inspiring and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
- You will keep yourself up to date on IKEA Services and Product Range to offer solutions and services that meet customer needs.
- You will bring the ambience, inspiration and quality of the IKEA showroom directly into customers’ homes.
- You will work closely with sales targets and other KPIs.
