IKEA Bristol are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to their sales team! Join our team as a Sales Assistant and be the welcoming face that helps customers find exactly what they need! This is a busy role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives during busy shifts, and takes pride in delivering reliable customer service. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming shopping experience, offering product advice, and keeping the store looking its best. WHAT WE OFFERThe Start Date of employment will be: 13th June 2026. Competitive hourly rate of 13.45 per hour. We have many contract sizes available ranging from 12 to 20 hours per week, with shift patterns being during the day, evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview, for example weekend only contracts.

Previous experience preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a busy retail setting. You are computer literate and able to work with technology. Approachable to support the customers. Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail. Motivated to take initiative and make sound decisions that benefit customers and the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYYour priority is the customer experience, focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's delivery. Provide a memorable shopping experience by approaching the customer to identify their needs, advise them on ideal solutions for their life at home and improve their shopping experience. Bring your personality to work. Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock safety. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
