IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY, are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. At IKEA Warrington, we're looking for upbeat, hands-on people to help create great food experiences. You'll serve customers, prepare food behind the scenes, keep our restaurant sparkling, and work the tills with a smile. By supporting your teammates, exceeding customer expectations, and following our safety standards, you'll help build a welcoming space everyone can enjoy.

Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older. For everyone's safety, jewellery and piercings need to be removed while working in our food and restaurant spaces. If you wear a religious or medical item, just let us know; we'll work with you to find a safe solution.

WHAT WE OFFER

Start date of employment will be: 9th September. Weekend only opportunities. Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour. Working hours for this role are between 6am to 10pm. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

  • 12 hours weekly, working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
  • 16 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
  • 24 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work. Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team. Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.

The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food. Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
