IKEA Warrington are looking to welcome a Product Recovery Operations Specialist to join our amazing recovery team.

Are you passionate about sustainability, problem-solving, and creating great customer experiences? As a Product Recovery Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in giving IKEA products a second chance through repackaging, repairs, spare parts management, and resale. Working across the store, you'll help optimise recovery processes, drive quality and safety awareness, and support co-workers through training and operational guidance. WHAT WE OFFER

  • The Start Date of employment will be: November 2026.
  • Starting salary of £28,452.35 per annum, based on competence and experience.
  • 39 hours working 5 days per week including alternate weekends.
  • Working hours are between 7am to 11pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • A practical approach to waste management and sustainability, love multi-tasking, and an enthusiasm for giving things a new life.
  • Have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
  • You are motivated to problem solve and use your own initiative daily. You are excited about being part of the team but also can work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with high attention to detail.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance through product repackaging, spare part management, product assembly and sales. (online & offline).
  • Optimise the product recovery processes, tools, and ways of working in the department to improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products . Follow up on performance and use proven solutions and good examples to identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for implementing & training unit co-workers in processes, tools and ways of working related to recovery operations.
  • Work collaboratively across all functions in the unit to create Product Quality & Safety and Recovery awareness, and to ensure that common working routines and processes related are followed.
  • Support the Product Quality & Recovery Manager by indirectly leading the team together with the other specialists, by assigning tasks and supervising the daily operations of the Product Quality & Recovery team when required.
