IKEA Oxford Street are looking to welcome Store Assistants to our team on a temporary basis for 10 weeks, with the potential to be made permanent. We're looking for a dynamic Store Assistant at IKEA Oxford Street to deliver outstanding customer experiences. While your main focus will be in the fulfilment function, you'll embrace a multi-skilled role, ensuring product availability and an inviting shopping environment for all our customers.
WHAT WE OFFERThe Start Date of employment will be: 1st of August. Competitive hourly rate of 14.80 per hour. Working 30 hours per week across 5 days, including day shift, evening shifts, early morning shifts (prior to 6AM) and 3 in 4 weekends per month. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYYou provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the right solutions for their life at home. You are interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers. You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting. You will follow safety procedures to ensure efficient replenishment and maintaining high standards across the shopfloor, working with warehousing tools and apparatus. You will be working and staying agile in a fast-paced setting, rapidly assessing situations and implementing solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
