We at IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome a Customer Delivery Team Leader to join our amazing Fulfilment Team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced logistics environment, inspires teams to deliver outstanding results, and brings a sharp, solutions‑focused mindset to every challenge. WHAT WE OFFER- Expected Starting Date: April/May 2026
- This role has a starting salary of £31,000 per annum, based on competence & experience.
- 39 hours per week, working 8 hour shifts between 6.00am - 9.30pm, 5 days out of 7, including alternate weekends.

- You have at least 12 months experience leading a team of at least 10 people in a Transportation role.
- You have experience working within a Logistics environment.
- You have experience planning for succession through regular performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring your team.
- You have experience in resolving customer issues and complaints, reaching a satisfactory outcome for both the customer and the business.
- You enjoy leading, supporting, coaching and mentoring a team, and you’re passionate about people—always striving to deliver high‑quality customer service.
- You are someone who delivers goals and targets by leading your team effectively.
- You are someone that can analyse data and turn your findings into tangible actions to achieve results based on business goals.
- You lead by example, supporting your team and the wider business as and when required.
- You have good IT literacy and are comfortable learning and working with new systems.
- Ability to implement structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
- You have held a clean Full UK Drivers License for a minimum of 24 months.
- Experience managing budgets and working with profits and losses.
- Drive high‑quality, efficient Last Mile operations by effectively planning staffing, shifts, equipment, and delivery routes to ensure daily targets are consistently achieved.
- You will support your team to deliver an excellent customer service experience.
- Work with your team to take action to prevent and reduce damages.
- You will be responsible for customer complaints, vehicle related accidents - completing root cause analysis, any necessary escalations, creating and implementing action plans to grow and improve the service.
- You will lead your team to ensure all vehicle and compliance checks are carried out.
- You will be responsible for the regular servicing and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring fleet checks are completed and all reported issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- You will work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, relevant vehicle checks and legislation and finally the working environment.
