IKEA Leeds are looking to welcome a Warehouse Manager to join the team as what we call a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader. In this role you will support your team to deliver the Outbound Goods operation ensuring that customers can find the products they want when they want them.
WHAT WE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be in April, final date will be discussed with the offered candidate and to accommodate notice periods and business needs.
- 39 Hours working 5 days per week including alternate weekends.
- This role offers a salary starting from £29,215 per annum, based on skills & experience.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Experience of leading a large team in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others' workload.
- Results-driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
- Ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, able to cope with changing circumstances and highly flexible.
- Good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and proficient computer literacy.
- Keen to contribute a fresh outlook and a collaborative spirit to the team.
- Working & building relationships with cross functional partners to ensure efficient warehouse operations that meet deadlines and deliver results.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Ensure efficient daily operation within outbound fulfilment operations, ensuring that goods are available to be picked up by customers and that there are co-workers available to support them when needed.
- Responsible for coaching, developing and inspiring a motivated team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
- Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
