Overview
IKEA London City, London City, United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Sales Specialist to support customers in designing their dream kitchens. Working at IKEA London City offers a multi-site environment between IKEA Hammersmith and IKEA Oxford Street. If you are passionate about interior design and enjoy helping customers bring creative visions to life, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities
- You actively engage with customers to identify needs and advise on the best kitchen solutions for their home through design and planning.
- Support maximising sales by maintaining clean, well-presented areas that are easy to shop for customers.
- Kitchen planning and designing for up to 2 hours, with an additional 30–60 minutes to provide accurate plans, worktops, and installation quotations.
- Respond to customer emails and secure payments both in store and remotely.
- Work toward KPIs to deliver service to customers.
What you’ll need to have
- Experience in kitchen planning is advantageous, although not required, and you should be able to conduct sales discussions with ease.
- Experience in a customer- and commercially-oriented business, with an interest in people’s everyday life at home within their kitchen.
- Confidence to take personal initiative and adapt to change, with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate with customers.
- Confidence with using computer software.
