We are looking to welcome a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to lead our Croydon store.
Your remit will be to reach excellence in daily running fulfilment unit operations by assigning job duties to co-workers, communicating objectives and goals, and coaching and developing the operational teams.

WHAT WE OFFER
This role offers a starting salary of £29,000 per annum, based on competence & experience.
39 hours per week, working hours will support the needs of the business.

WHAT YOU\’LL NEED TO HAVE
- Relevant experience and proven performance in retail and/or logistics role
- Minimum of 2 years experience in leading people with a proven record of successful leadership delivering both business results and people development.
- Proven experience in working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback
- Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals
- Good computer skills and ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
- Problem-solving experience.
WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Lead the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area to ensure high goods availability, operational readiness, and cost efficiency.
- Identify, recruit, retain, and develop talents in the Fulfilment Operations team to secure a diverse, high-performing team capable of executing responsibilities confidently and securing future succession.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
- Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Fulfilment Operations by contributing to goal achievement, planning, quality awareness, and workload analysis.
- Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned area.
