IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food Production Operatives to join our delightful and hardworking team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who is passionate about serving simple, good-quality food. As a Food Production Operative, you will support in producing our meals in our busy customer restaurant - including our meatballs and hot dishes! If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
WHAT WE OFFER- Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.

- This is a permanent contract and there is an expectation you can work through the year, including over the summer period when our store is busy.
- Induction date will be Saturday and Sunday, 12 and 13 July.
- Contract of 34 hours a week, shifts will include alternate weekends (1 on, 1 off), as well as shifts during the week - including at mornings, during the day, and at evenings.

- Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in a busy role, where you will be multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
- You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers.
- The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
- Preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
