IKEA Croydon are looking to welcome a Food & Beverage Manager to the management team. In IKEA, we call this an IKEA Food Manager.

WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be June 2025.
• Starting salary of £52,500 per annum, based on competence and experience.
• 39 Hours working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month.

WHAT YOU\’LL NEED TO HAVE
• An enthusiasm for food and peoples life at home with experience in developing a complex, high-volume business focused on commerciality and food.
• The capacity to guide, motivate and engage with your team, quickly developing local market knowledge to make commercial decisions.
• Be business minded and customer focused. Balancing efficiency, inspiration and profitability with a clear customer focus.
• You are structured and influential, establishing structures and routines for large teams and influencing the wider store management team.
• Ability to adapt, working effectively to achieve goals, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment by championing flexibility, speed and simplicity, using experience to set and implement action plans and budgets.
WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the senior store management team your remit will be;
• Ensure correct operational process to secure food safety, product availability, food stock management, food quality and to minimise food waste.
• Optimising sales and profitability by encouraging your team to take fast action on commercial opportunities and act on customer feedback, competition, supply and performance analyses.
• Knowing the local market potential and working with your team and other store functions to plan and implement commercial activities that increase sales.
• Working through the team, and with the support of other functions, to present the width and depth of the IKEA range in order to satisfy and inspire visitors.
• Secure skilled and efficient teams and leaders who inspire and empower every co-worker to recognise and understand their contribution, whilst identifying and developing the many talents within the department to secure succession planning.
