Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you know your meat ball from your plant ball? If so, then we are looking for you. IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome co-workers to join various teams in our hardworking IKEA Food Department. Our Kitchen Production Team handle, prepare and serve meals to our customers and co-workers. Our Restaurant team ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience by clearing tables, operating the dishwasher and serving meals to our customers and co-worker. Our Bistro & Swedish Food Market Team serve our customers a quick snack to go before they leave or support them in buying some of our fantastic food products to make at home. If you love taking responsibility and working in a fast-paced environment this is the job for you. In the IKEA world, we call this position an IKEA Food Co-worker.
What we offer
- Β£12.60 per hour, permanent contracts with advanced scheduling
- 12, 16, 20, 24 & 30 hour contracts available
- Flexibility will be discussed at interview, but evenings and weekend working will be expected
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers. Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.

What you\\\βll need to have
- Prior Fast-Food experience is a plus
- Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety and regulations
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy
- Our ideal candidate is passionate and friendly with a roll up your sleeve mindset to work alongside the team and deliver a great customer experience
What you\\\βll be doing day to day
- These roles will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, work behind the scenes to prepare food, take payment at tills, clean your work area and operate the industrial dishwasher
- Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers
- Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team
