IKEA Reading are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. Working as a Food Co-worker at IKEA involves preparing delicious meals, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and providing excellent customer service to create a memorable dining experience for our customers.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Start date of employment will be: 3rd July 2025
- Competitive hourly rate of Β£13.25 per hour.
- We have various contract sizes from 12, 16, 18, 20 and 30hrs per week. Availability to work days, evenings and both weekend days, you will receive every 4th weekend off. Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 7.30am and 22.00.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.

- The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
