IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. If you are looking for a long-term career in food and hospitality, and the opportunity to work somewhere fast-paced and busy, this is an ideal opportunity for you.
We have one 20 hour a week contract in our Swedish Food Market/Bistro, and one 30 hour vacancy in our Customer Restaurant.
WHAT WE OFFER- Start date of employment will be 07 and 08 June. Planned interviews will be between 19 and 21 May.
- Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
- Availability to work 3 in 4 weekends, as well as a combination of pre-arranged shifts that may include mornings (opens), during the day, and store closing (latest shift ending time would be 21:00pm) is required.
- We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

- Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
- You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and customer areas, ensuring stock is displayed and ready to purchase in our Swedish Food Market.
- You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
- You will be communicating directly with customers, ensuring they receive an efficient, friendly and warm dining experience.
- You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
