IKEA Birmingham are looking to welcome a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team. As a warehouse fulfilment co-worker, you might be zipping around picking and prepping customer orders for pickup or delivery, or you could be in our self-serve warehouse, helping customers hunt down their flat-pack treasures while keeping the aisles tidy, stocked, and ready for adventure.
WHAT WE OFFER- Start Date of employment will be: 18th of April
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
- 12 hours working 3 days over 7 includes evenings and weekends.
- 30hrs working 5 days over 7 includes days, evenings and weekends.
- All our part time roles will receive every 4th weekend off.
- We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.
All interviews will take place on the 24th of March.

- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace.
- Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
- Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate productively in group efforts.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
- Picking all our customer orders ready for collection or delivery.
- Working in our self-serve Warehouse replenishing stock ready for the next day's deliveries and supporting customers locating stock.
- Manual handling of heavy stock.
- Working with or around heavy machinery, such as Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
