IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Safety and Security Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.
At IKEA, we call this role a Business Risk and Compliance Co-worker.
If you are looking for a role where you get to build your customer service skills and help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you.
We have 12-hour contracts working at our co-worker entrance, checking in visitors, contractors, etc. and ensuring risk is managed and safety ensured through the building.
This role will allow you to work through the wider store.
WHAT WE OFFER Start Date of employment will be 5th of September 2026.
Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
Availability to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as ad hoc shifts through the week (Monday to Friday) is required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE The most important requirements are an interest in and experience in retail, good customer service, and administrative duties.
You will demonstrate professionalism in your decision-making, motivated to learn and committed to safety.
You have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal and methodological problem-solving skills.
An ability to work in a self-directive environment to resolve problems and to complete tasks within deadlines, an ability to work in an environment with tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using computers and digital tools to complete administrative tasks.
