IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team. If you are looking for a long-term career in food and hospitality, and the opportunity to work somewhere inclusive - we want to hear from you! We have contracts working in our Customer Restaurant, Kitchen Production and Swedish Food Market/Bistro areas. These are permanent, year-round contracts in a close-knit and motivated team.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start date of employment will be 5th of September 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of Β£13.45 per hour.
  • 30 Hours working 5 days over 7 including 3 weekends out of 4.
  • 20 Hours working 5 days over 7 including 3 weekends out of 4.
  • 12 Hours working 2 days over 7 available to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 3 weekends out of 4 as well as ad hoc shifts through the week (Monday to Friday) is required.
  • All contracts require availability between the hours of 07:00am - 21:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
  • Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
  • Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
