WHAT WE OFFER

  • The Start Date of employment will be: July 2026
  • Hourly rate of £13.45
  • Full Time: 39 hours per week working 3-5 days out of 7, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Experience in assembling furniture, with basic DIY knowledge.
  • You are able to manage your own workload, arranging your own priorities whilst ensuring that everything is completed in a timely manner to a high standard.
  • The ability to forward plan, balancing daily requests with longer-term projects and upcoming priorities.
  • You have an interest in the way people live their lives at home and how home furnishings fit into their daily lives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • You will build furniture to a high standard to ensure our store displays showcase the quality and durability of IKEA products.
  • You will ensure furniture is built correctly and secured in line with health and safety practices, ensuring a safe environment for our visitors and co-workers.
  • You will assist customers with questions related to the building of IKEA products.
  • You will work with the sales team to support and implement range changes throughout the year.
