IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a Customer collection assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team. A customer collection co-worker hands out orders, picks and packs products for online orders, and ensures a positive customer experience.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start Date of employment will be: 27th of April
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
  • We have 3 contracts to offer 36hrs, 30hrs and 18hrs working 3/4/5 days per week (this is dependent on contract size) and you will receive every 4th weekend off.
  • You will be scheduled for shifts between the hours of 6am and 10pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate actively in group efforts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Your main duties will be handing out stock at our customer collection point and supporting our customer order picking service.
  • This role will involve a degree of heavy lifting.
  • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
