IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome an Interior Design co-worker to join their team. An Interior Designer at IKEA creates functional, inspiring room displays that showcase smart home solutions using the IKEA range.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Starting salary of £28,982 based on competence and experience.
  • 39 Hours 5 days per week Monday to Friday with the flexibility to start between 6.30am and 7.30am; this includes working occasional weekends.

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • You have a degree or experience in a relevant creative field.
  • A working knowledge in design software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • You are excited about home furnishings, design and how people live, and have the ability to generate new ideas to inspire our customers.
  • You have a hands-on approach, experience in DIY, working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • Use Interior Design competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity, inspire and surprise our visitors.
  • Work with our commercial calendar to plan inspiring commercial displays for the store; the majority of your time will be spent implementing and bringing your plans to life on the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Contribute to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
  • Stay updated on trends in home furnishing & retail experience.
