IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome Co-workers to join our Kitchen Production & Restaurant team to provide our customers & co-workers many reasons to return to IKEA. Our Kitchen Production Team handle, prepare and serve meals to our customers and co-workers. Our Restaurant team ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience by clearing tables, operating the dishwasher and serving meals to our customers and co-workers. If you love taking responsibility and working in a fast-paced environment this is the job for you. In the IKEA world, we call this position an IKEA Food Co-worker.

What we offer
- Start with us on 18 October 2025
- £12.60 per hour, permanent contracts with advanced scheduling
- 16, 20 & 24 hour contracts available
- Flexibility will be discussed at interview, but evenings and weekend working will be expected
What you’ll need to have
- Prior fast food experience is a plus
- Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety and regulations
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team
- Ability to remain organised and detail-oriented, even when things get busy
- Our ideal candidate is passionate and friendly with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset to work alongside the team and deliver a great customer experience
What you’ll be doing day to day
- These roles will involve a variety of tasks, including serving food, preparing food behind the scenes, taking payments at tills, cleaning your work area and operating the industrial dishwasher
- Customer focused: work with the team to create the best customer experience, listen, act, and exceed expectations
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both customers and co-workers
- Support colleagues, lend a hand, and contribute to a positive, proud team environment
Responsibilities and culture
